Valentine’s Day is coming up and we’ve put together a few ideas for celebrating the holiday. The first feature is a project we did for a Valentine’s Day breakfast for our other sister site, By the Shore Studio. We believe in celebrating all the special moments in life that you can. This set up doesn’t take too long and it’s a great little surprise for someone you love.
Earlier this month, we took on a project to decorate that included our 2″ white heart wall decals. The walls are a neutral color and needed to stay that way. So how do you add in some girly details? We decided to go with the heart decals (made of indoor vinyl so it’s removable) and some pretty pink ballerina prints. We kept the pictures simple since we were putting a pattern on the wall.
The black hearts are a great option on white walls. It gives off a modern contrast. Add in gold details as we did or go for just a little pop of color. Even just adding in some pink flowers would do the trick.
The great thing about the indoor vinyl decals is that you can hang them up for however long you want and they come down easily. You can even reuse them a time or two – just make sure they are the indoor type, outdoor ones are more permanent.
