For our latest birthday party collection, we’ve created a fun Dinosaur Party. We used light brown, orange, and blue throughout the decorations. For the banner, we switched it up a little with a vertical stripe down the middle.
The cake is a chocolate petal cake we had custom ordered from Super Target. It was 3 layers and tasted delicious! I was really happy with the job they did. We added a small striped bunting banner to add to the cake.
Then for the drinks we used red Gatorade for a “lava” look. We used our favorite plastic french square bottles, made dinosaur decals in gold glitter vinyl, and added striped red straws.
Our cupcake toppers and the food tents keep the same stripe design. Dino-Sours (aka gummy worms) are a fun candy to have at a dino party. We put ours in small glass jars to see all of the colors. Cake pops are a favorite, so we love to include them at about every party we style.
For this party we also set up a separate table as a Welcome Table. Here guests have a place they can put their gifts for the birthday boy. Party favor bags can be placed here too for the guests to take with them later. Tomorrow we will have a few ideas for games for a dinosaur party, so be sure to come back and see those also.
