How to Make Kale Chips

I’ve been looking for healthy snack ideas and tasty ways to cook vegetables.  One of my good friends had me and Tyler over for dinner one night and she had kale chips as the vegetable.  I’m not a big fan of kale so when I liked them and saw Tyler would eat them, I knew I had to grab the recipe!

I buy the kale fresh, in a bag torn up already, just like salad.  It’s pretty cheap too for the amount you get.  The first bag I bought had the recipe on it, but not all of them do.  So if your bag doesn’t have it on there, here’s how to make them:

Ingredients:

kale

extra light olive oil

sea salt

Directions:

1. Preheat over to 350 degrees F.

2. Toss the kale with 2 tablespoons of extra light olive oil so it covers all of the leaves.

3.  Cook until edges are brown, but not burnt. Approximately 10-15 minutes.

4. Take them out of the oven and sprinkle with sea salt.  Let them cool and they’re ready to eat!

They are crispy and you eat them as a finger food.  I am really excited about finding out about these and wanted to share with you. It’s always good to have another healthy snack idea.  If you try them, let me know how you like them!
