Easy Christmas Cookies

We made our first batch of Christmas cookies last week. We make these Chocolate Peanut Butter and Chocolate Peppermint Cookies every year to take to parties. And everyone LOVES them! The peppermint ones taste similar to the mint girl scout cookies. And you know peanut butter and chocolate is ALWAYS a good combo! They are so easy to make too; you don’t have to bake them!

For the Peanut Butter covered Chocolate Cookies:

  • – Town House crakers
  • – Peanut Butter
  • – Chocolate Almond Bark

1. First take the Town House Crackers and cover them with Peanut Butter and lay them down on aluminum foil or parchment paper.

2. Melt the Chocolate Almond Bark with your preferred method. This can be done in either the microwave or on the stove. If you use the microwave, be careful not to overcook or it will burn. Using the stove can also make the chocolate stay melted longer.

3. Dip the peanut butter crackers into the melted chocolate. Sit them back on the aluminum foil to dry. You need to use aluminum foil to lay them on, because when the chocolate dries, it will stick to the paper but peel right off.

For the Peppermint Chocolate Covered Cookies:

  • – Town House Crackers
  • – Chocolate Almond Bark
  • – Candy Canes

1. Dip the Town House crackers into the melted Chocolate and sit on aluminum foil to dry.

2. Crush the Candy Cane with a meat tenderizer (or really anything you can crush it with) into tiny pieces.

3. Sprinkle the crushed candy cane pieces on top of the cookies.

See I told you it was easy! Very easy, yet very delicious! I just took them to a get together last night and I didn’t have any to bring home! Each time I get asked how to make them too, trust me if you make these, everyone will thank you for it!

Have fun making your cookies!
