I hope everyone had a happy 4th of July! Today we’re sharing the second of three parties we created for We Heart Parties, which include some free printable designs. This one is perfect for this time of year – a flamingo birthday party, full of tropical colors.
Use our cupcake toppers + food tents to add some decorations to plain white cupcakes. Fill glass milk bottles with tropical punch or pink lemonade to go along with the color scheme. We added some gold flamingo decals to ours and used regular plastic straws in tropical colors to finish the look.
A white wood backdrop added a beach feel to the party. We used gold accents throughout the party, including spray painting two pineapples gold. You can use editable spray so you can eat them after or use regular spray paint for them to be decoration only. We love the idea of editable spray, but it does take several cans.
Another gold accent we used is this shiny gold mirrored Aloha cake topper. We purchased a cake from our local Super Target and added pink flowers to it to finish the cake. Tropical cookies, including the adorable flamingo ones added a professional touch. It’s amazing how pretty cookies can look, right? Cake pops are a must at our parties, they are just too delicious not to include!
For this fun, girly party, add a glamour stand for guests with sunglasses, toe separators and other girly accessories in treat bags, and shades of pink nail polish + glitter. We have included these free printable signs to help set up your glamour table. Tyler had a few friends over that day to help out and enjoy some sweets. Our young helpers took a picture by the table – and as you can see Tyler is all boy!
You can download the blank invitation to fill out for free on We Heart Parties or contact us at our Etsy shop to purchase a personalized one.
We hoped you enjoyed this party and have some ideas for your own tropical party or luau. We would love to see your parties with our printables! Tag us @joleestudio on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or Instagram.
