We’ve been really excited about “Finding Dory” coming out and can’t wait to see it! In lieu of “Finding Dory’s” opening, we were thinking of a fun game to play to get pumped up to see it. When thinking of an idea, we thought about the scavenger hunts we made in the past. What better game to play than a scavenger hunt?! It’s perfect right?
The scavenger hunt has 8 clues total. Start off by giving the players the first piece – the one with the clown fish. On it, it will have the first clue. Ours says “where we sleep at night.” So Tyler looked in his bed and found the next clue hidden there. Then the next clue had another location to look, and then another one…until you get to the end. You can hide the pieces inside or out. We did a mixture of both for ours.
The big card shows what clues are left to find. At the end, you can hide a special surprise for the players to find. Tyler sure loved playing the game and wanted to play again as soon as we were done. We hope your little ones enjoy it too!
The individual clues don’t have specific locations on them so you can cater them to your needs. Below are all of the examples we used for our scavenger hunt to give you some ideas.
